Hook
Sew a baby quilt with me, except I've never done this before and I have no idea what I'm doing. So this is not a tutorial by any means. If anything, it might not work at all. But let's get started. I'm going to start by showing you guys all the fabric we're using. I thrifted all of it and it was like $7 in all. My favorite is this cute monkey pattern. These polka dots. This cute floral pattern. These butterflies. Pink floral. And this pink I'm gonna use for the backing. Now I'm going to cut all of the fabric into 5 inch by 5 inch squares. I have all of the squares cut out and now I'm going to lay them out into the pattern that I like. Here's the pattern all laid out. Now we're going to sew right sides together. I have them also sewn into strips. But now I need to iron them so the seams are flat. I finished the top layer of the quilt and the perfectionist in me is literally wanting to scream, but considering it is my first time ever and I'm not really following a tutorial, I'm just kind of guessing. I'm not too mad about it. Like it could be worse. I hate to be this person, but it is like 2:30 in the morning and my back is killing me. So I think I'm gonna finish the rest in part two. I'm gonna finish it tomorrow. So you guys don't have to wait too long. So please don't hate me. I normally finish everything in one part, but I just cannot do it tonight. So come back tomorrow and hopefully it'll turn out. Thank you so much.
