Why would they CIE Cord like this supposed to connect like this? really good question. they give you a daisy chain GPU if you're use two separate PCIE Cables for your never install a into your PC They basically have different connection points Depending on which one you have. an older gen powered GPU it might come with two 8 pin connectors. for those high power G is the Asus Prime 5070: It comes with a 12 volt high power connector. kind of ugly you're actually supposed separate PC Cables versus the one daisy chained. And like I actually kind of comes down to the power draw. So older gen GPUs like the 1070 Ti Right here on my shelf. These used to draw way less power than a 5070 does. So while using one of those split connectors for your GPU previously was completely it's now recommended to use two PCIE Plugs because of how much power these suckers draw. Otherwise you might run into the risk of having overheating or other issues but if you have a 12 volt connector port on your GPU consider yourself lucky because you don't about a thing.
