POV: Your favorite cafe is closing & the owner might lose her home, but she still surprises you with this…🥺💡 I don’t typically make these videos, but I felt like God was telling me to do so and do everything I can do save this local business. In January for my birthday, I posted about @Cafelafenyc, a small, Christian cafe rooted in Faith owned by Yarissa. Because of that video, we were able to help her stay open for almost 5 months, but now, she faces closing down at the end of June and more… Yarissa and her son, who I call Yas, are some of the kindest people I’ve met. Cafe La Fe has been a special place to so many (including myself) where people can come and be filled with love, faith, and prayer. However, I came back from Philippines and found out that the cafe was closing because they haven’t been able to pay the bills for the cafe, since rent is extremely high and there hasn’t been enough traffic. In addition, Yarissa had to make a decision whether to lose the cafe or her home, one that was a difficult one to make because this is where she and so many call home. My first video of them hit 1 million views - and it brought in many customers, and I hope this video can do the same to keep them open. If you’re in NYC, please go support her and help keep this cafe alive. If you want to support them, especially if you’re in the area, visit their cafe. She also has a GoFundMe located in her bio, or mine too. If you can’t either, that’s okay. Even sharing this helps 🤍 📍Cafe La Fe 70 E 1st Street, NYCL Much love, and thank you for listening 🫶 #jwow #nyc #cafe #restaurant #SmallBusiness
