so Austin Animal Center messaged me and they said that they're insanely overcrowded right now with pets that need to be adopted. So you know what we need to do? Let's go meet some of these cuties and hopefully from this video a couple of these animals are able to find homes. Let's go, we're here. Austin Animal Center is amazing. I adopted my cat Whiskey from here years ago and I wanted to make this video because they are at critical capacity right now and show you guys some of the pets that they have up for adoption because one of these animals might be your forever. Okay, let's start with the cats. So there were so many different types of cats, orange cats, tuxedo cats, even this gorgeous Siamese cat, his name is Superfly. I fell in love with this senior cat, his name is Redford. You're about to see him. He's orange. This is him. Oh, he looks so sad. If you're considering adopting a cat, please consider adopting a senior or an adult cat because they're way less likely to get adopted versus kittens. But they did have a huge amount of kittens as well. Okay, now let's move over to the dogs. So there's a ton of different dogs available for adoption right now. So many different breeds. They were just so cute. And when I saw this dog named Pepper, she just looked kind of sad. We took her out. We took her on a little walk and she ended up being the sweetest. Like she just wanted to be loved and scratched and rubbed and lay on you. I'm obsessed with her. They also have this thing called Doggy Day Out where you can come to the shelter and pick up one of the eligible dogs and get to just spend the day with it. I definitely want to do that. And then we saw Mama Blythe. And I was like, she is just so cute. So we got to spend some time with her. She was so fun. And she's like, please come see Mama Blythe.
