I was just thinking like what was the hardest part of nursing school

I was just thinking like what was the hardest part of nursing school and honestly nursing school was the hardest thing I've ever gone through in my entire life and I feel like so many people can say the same thing. But I was just thinking like I think the hardest part is just sacrifice. Like everything that you have to sacrifice for nursing school so that you can focus on nursing school. Nursing school is your entire world for the entirety of the program. You have to dedicate your life solely to this program until you're done. And it was so hard but it was the most rewarding thing I've also ever done for myself. And I think it's like the fact that you have to sacrifice your social life, friendships have to be put on hold, spending time with your family, missing out on events, missing out on vacations, not being able to do anything, like, my goodness. Not being able to go to the gym or not working out, not having a healthy diet, ambitions, goals, like everything needs to be put on hold because nursing school will suck the life out of you. Like when I think about who I used to be in nursing school and who I am now, completely different people. The way I completely lost myself in nursing school, like I was so unhealthy, I gained so much weight, I was so unhappy, I was so stressed out all the time. Like that is nothing compared to what I am now, like the life that I live. It's just crazy. Like who you become and the things you go through in nursing school. It's just like, wow. But I was in the trenches and now we're not in the trenches no more.
