Best in Bakersfield? This place to your must. I finally got the opportunity to try. Kage Asian Bistro. Kage Asian Bistro in Bakersfield. Absolutely blown away. I walked through. Busy night, so we had a bit of a wait, but I was not complaining because that meant that we got to check out the bar. Sexy Geisha and Dragon Dance came highly recommended, but I will definitely be trying Sex in Japan and the Forbidden Garden. I saw the spicy cucumbers on the menu, they were a must try. The spicy cucumbers were packed with flavor and the salsa macha and black vinegar dumpling sauce complimented each other perfectly. Next, we tried the Bakersfield Crunch Sushi Roll. This roll features crab, avocado, fried tempura, popcorn shrimp, spicy mayo, crispy garlic, crispy onion, chives and serrano. My favorite dish was the Robata Ribeye. I love a good fatty steak. The flavor of it was like a teriyaki. The outside was so crispy. It was incredible. I can't wait to eat it again. Also, these portraits on the ceiling. I love the attention to detail. And I honestly give this place a 10 out of 10. The ambiance, food quality and service work top notch.
