Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
So you come to TikTok, you start uploading your content, you start to get no views and then you go into live rooms, you go to other creators content and you see that they're actually growing faster than you. You then stop posting your content, you stop going live. And then you say, you know what? Let me try this again. You show up again, the same thing happens. If this sounds anything like you, I need you to watch this video because it's important that you understand why this is happening. When you become a creator on this app, the biggest thing that you need to start to realise is switching from a consumer mindset to a creator mindset. Let me explain the difference to you so you can fully grasp why maybe you're not growing like you thought you would. When you're a consumer, you're focused on coming on the app. When you open TikTok, it literally opens you to the for you feed and promotes you to start engaging. What I would do, especially as a creator and if you wanna become a full time creator, make this a side hustle, use that for you feed with strategy. Go on the for you feed and don't just consume before you create. Click on that plus sign right here. Before you consume, before you watch other videos, go create first. When you become a creator and you start to consume before you create, it actually lowers your probability of you posting consistently. Because now you're unintentionally comparing yourself to other creators. You're unintentionally going on this app and seeing who is winning, and you're not. And you're going into this cycle of, I'm not gonna upload because she got, look at all these viral videos. Why can't I get a viral video? Unintentionally. So what I want you to do as a creator is to create, period, before you consume. Then if you wanna have some leisure time, go consume the app, see what's working well and use it as data. But, um, comparison on this app is really difficult because you're, you're watching somebody's day, uh, 375 versus your day 30. Always remember that every creator has a different journey. Some creators blow up overnight and some creators blow, they're a one and done. They blow up and you never see them again. But you wanna be that creator that is sustainable. You wanna be that creator that has the growth over and over and over again. Hopefully this was a good reminder to you that even no matter where you are along your journey, you can always start over. That is also another thing that I always had to consider as I took some breaks. I've taken a couple breaks. I've done like two month breaks, which hurt my visibility. But overall as creators, we know that we need some downtime. And the best way to do that is to take that time and understand that you can restart and continue just where you started. You might get a little bit of low engagement, but tomorrow is always a new day. Don't forget to follow. If you see this red, join my live streams.
