I started content creation exactly one year and two months ago, and I wanna share with you exactly what in my life has changed since uploading consistently on social media. And I wanna share this to help maybe somebody on the other side of the screen who desires to be a content creator, who doesn't really understand how it all works, and knowing that it can be possible for you. If it's possible for me, I can guarantee that it's possible for you. So let's start from the beginning. I started as a general manager at 24. I quit my general management job. It was paying me roughly $80,000 a year, which is a great salary, a very hard salary to walk away from. There was no reason for leaving other than knowing something inside of me was like, girl, you can do better and you can make money on your own. Did I know how to do it when I quit? No, but let me tell you. That's when I stumbled across TikTok and I didn't even have TikTok downloaded. Um, and I downloaded the app. I thought it was just a trendy app where people came on. I didn't even realize you can make money from this platform. And I was bored one day. I had got my real estate license because I was like, I want to make sure that I have something I can rely on just in case something doesn't work out because that I didn't even know what that something was, you understand? So I get on TikTok and I start uploading content. I'll insert some videos here of what my first content looked like. I was doing, you know, get ready with me. I was doing just random content. Like none of it really made sense. It was just fun for me because I've always loved to record videos. I've always loved to be behind the camera. So, stay with me. That's when everything started to change. Once I started uploading, I realized you can go live on this app. So I started to go live, I started to battle, I started to like network with other people. Then I had a video actually blow up to about 60,000 views. Last year after being on the app for 2 months, and my following went from like 700 to like 5,000. Then it went from 5,000 to 10,000. I said, okay, so there's something here that I didn't realize was possible. Then I started posting and then I went live and then I made my first $20,000 month. Now for a lot of you, you're like, but Aleah, how did you do that? I went live so consistently that people, it was impossible for people to miss, for people to miss me. What's changed since I got on social media? I no longer have to clock into a job. I'm able to comfortably pay my bills. Am I at the point where I'm a millionaire yet? Not yet, but again, it's I'm still a year into my journey. I'm still learning what this all what there's what social media all has to offer. I've met a lot of amazing people, but I've also met a lot of people who have stolen my content from me. I've met like a lot of people on this app who fake the front when they first meet you and pretend like they're your friend and then steal and talk negatively about you. But I am financially free. If I wanted to catch a flight right now, I could catch a flight. If I wanted to go on a vacation for a month, I could go on a vacation for a month. That's what social media has provided for me and getting groceries, eating healthy, um, being able to spend time with family. Uh, social media has changed my life in the sense of I used to clock in every single day. It's a Wednesday. I would have to go into work and just wait till the time passed. I no longer have to do that. It's 12:48 right now and I'm in my car filming content for TikTok. I'm getting back on YouTube right now. My camera's right here and I'm working on building a brand. And if you would have told me a year ago that I would be in a position to build a Creator Academy, um, learn how to code, build a community of people all around the world, I would be like, I don't even think I can do that. Okay? But I've gained confidence in myself, confidence in the way I speak, confidence in the way I show up on camera. So the moral of this story is to not only share my story, but to share to somebody who maybe was in the position I was where you're working and you know that you want to quit and you know you want to take something serious. I put everything on the line to make this happen and I did. And when I tell you I haven't stopped working, I went from working, you know, maybe 10 to 12 hour shifts to working 24/7, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'd rather work 24 hours of the day for me than 8 hours for somebody else. So take this story and I hope it hit home for somebody. Don't forget to follow and I'll see you in my next video. Join me on my live streams. I'm live 7:00 p.m. Central Standard Time to 9:00 p.m. and I teach creators how I did it. I teach creators real strategy on how to utilize this platform to the best of your ability. I'll see you in my live stream.
