So Midjourney just launched a full body medical scanner. Midjourney goes Medical. Yes, the AI image company. They just announced Midjourney Medical. And its first product maps your entire body in 60 seconds. It sounds sci-fi, but here's how it works. You step onto a platform and slowly descend into a shallow pool of water. As you sink, you pass through a ring of about half a million sensors, each the size of a grain of sand. Every one of these sensors acts as a tiny speaker and a tiny microphone, firing ultrasonic waves through your body to the echoes. The system streams terabytes of data and a cluster of computers reconstructs it into a 3D map of your insides down to a fraction of a millimeter. So no radiation, just sound and water. The company claims that it could be nearly 100 times faster and could cost a few dollars, a fraction of the $1000 dollars some scans cost today.
