So down Tesla lease. The Tesla Model Y is not a good lease deal right now in June 2026. Let me explain why. So right now Tesla's offering this lease for $0 down, 36 months, 10,000 miles a year. And the monthly payment is $790. And when we include taxes and fees, the due at signing amount is $2,634. And the monthly payment jumps to $886. Let's use a calculator and let me show you why this is not a good lease deal in terms of value. So if we take the monthly payment of $886 and we multiply that by 35 since it's a 36 month lease, and then we add the due at signing amount of $2,634. The total cost of this lease over 36 months is $33,644. And if we divide this by 36 to get the effective monthly payment, the effective monthly payment is $934. And when we divide this by this vehicle's MSRP, which is $51,163. And multiply this by 100 to get a percentage, you get 1.8101%. And historically, these vehicles have leased in the 1.2 to 1.3% range. And that's why I'm just not a big fan of the Tesla Model Y lease. But let me know what you think about this lease deal in the comment section below. Financial knowledge is power.
