Last night, a young man walked up to me while Chase and I were having dinner. He showed me his investment account—$8,300—and told me he started investing about $24 a day after watching our videos. Some people see $8,300. I see a millionaire mindset. There’s a difference between being broke and being poor. Being broke is temporary. Being poor is a state of mind. My advice? 🦅 Ignore the noise. 🦅 Stop trying to impress people you don’t want to become. 🦅 Protect your time. 🦅 Stay focused on your purpose. The rainbows only come after the storm. Keep investing in yourself, stay disciplined, and never lose sight of your dream. 📚 Read my national bestselling books Financial Literacy for All and Capitalism for All. 🎙️ Subscribe to the Money & Wealth Podcast on the Black Effect Podcast Network. 💙 Get free financial coaching through @operationhopehq and start building your future today. Special thanks to @Forbes and @jb_young for the opportunity to share my story. This is an outtake from me speaking at the Forbes 250 Greatest Living Self Made Americans List (I’m number 145 on the list) ceremonies in Pa recently. Here, I was in a co interview with fellow Forbes 250 honoree @ceoofhappyness — who’s also incredible. Watch his part of the interview. Grateful for the platform and for continuing to elevate conversations around entrepreneurship, resilience, financial literacy, and building generational wealth. The work continues. #FinancialLiteracy #FinancialFreedom #Wealth
