Alright tonight's danger is going to be for everybody with kids and teens that likes to use the app Snapchat. You might want to listen up to these dangers. The danger I'm referring to is that they did a study on the Today show and what they found out was disturbing. They did a study and basically what they did was they made three profiles ages 13 to 15 and put them on Snapchat. After these profiles were created, they stated that all kinds of things came through into their feed and it included adults and teens that were doing drugs, drinking alcohol, having sex with multiple people and also showing disorders and that it's okay to have these disorders as well. I'm going to show you a clip of that part of the interview and this is how quickly information came through. (Video clip plays) So as you can see, the 13-year-old profiles that the Today show made, they stated that within the first month, Snapchat recommended more than 700 posts to their 13-year-old accounts that the report found to be unsafe. So as you can see, they also did an interview and they had the ages of 12 to 15 year olds and they interviewed them and they stated that within the first month, they had over 50 plus adult posts posing as kids trying to get them to send nude material. The reason I'm making this is so parents can be aware of the dangers that are on social media and that you must observe what your kids are doing at all times.
