All right, today's safety tips going to be for anybody that is home alone and you hear someone knock at your door. These are some safety tips, you might want to listen up. First thing I would do is never go directly to the people, especially if it's at night because what you're doing is letting them know that someone's inside the home. I would always suggest that you if you can have a, you know, ring or some type of camera uh push button door bell so that way that you're able to look to see who it is before you approach the door. If you are able to talk to that person and they announce to you or let you know that they work for a particular either, you know, water, gas, electric, it doesn't really matter what it does. Those type of companies or just a company in general, call and verify that that company is supposed to be doing work at your house. If you find out that they're not and they're obviously not who they say they are or who they work for, immediately call 11 and let the police handle the situation because 9 times out of 10 they're obviously up to no good and if they haven't left after you've confronted them, they're up to something else even more deeper and probably more sinister. So it's best just to call 911 and let the police handle it. The number one thing I can say for women is to Make sure that you always if you live alone go ahead and go buy or ask your dad or somebody a mail figure for a old pair of shoes or boots and set it outside your doorway. You wouldn't believe how many times this is thwarted men that are trying to break in your home and take advantage of you and it's just another safety tip. Y'all take care and please be safe out there.
