What do you feel about "Everything happens for a reason"? Everything happens for a reason. I don't necessarily. But I think more than I did before. I think when hard things happen, I do believe something come out of it. Even if the only thing out of it is that you suffered, which connects you human being, across time ever. And then potentially your empathy deepens your ability a friend or whatever it might be. A reason will be found, you can find. No one can tell you what it is.
