After living in NYC for 7 years, here are my 4 favorite healthy restaurants (Best Healthy Eats) 1. Brasa Peruvian. Think Chipotle or Cava but made with superfood ingredients. They have warm bowls, salads, and the avocado toast was ridiculously good. 2. Rooted. This place keeps it simple. Every meal comes in an easy grab and go box, uses seven ingredients or fewer and is cooked only in olive oil. 3. The Protein Shop. If you're counting your calories, this is your spot. Everything is seed oil free. Their breakfast sandwich has 50 grams of protein and they make one of the best macro friendly soft serves in the city. And they offer meal prep options. 4. Carrot Express. This place has some of the best fresh bowls and smoothies to grab on the go. They have plenty of high protein options and the menu is mostly seed oil free.
