Yo, it's Father's Day and my 18-year-old daughter is taking me out. We're gonna check out Blackberry Cafe. Blackberry Cafe has that classic diner feel to it. The restaurant was buzzing and the food was coming out hot. Speaking of which, the slammer $14.95. Her boyfriend got the smothered country omelette $16. And the country smothered omelette. I started with the fresh cinnamon apple waffle $15. The fresh cinnamon apple waffle. Well, apple slices were fresh, but this is 7/10 sweet side. Next up was my chicken fried steak and egg $19. And this did not disappoint. Crispy chicken fried eggs cooked perfectly. Golden hash browns brought everything together. I would come back just for this. Then they brought out one of their specials, the Dubai, chocolate and strawberry French toast! The Dubai chocolate strawberry French toast. This was a 9/10, absolutely delicious without being overly sweet. And the strawberries were some of the best I've had. Blackberry Cafe definitely delivers for breakfast and lunch.
