How many of you remember those adverts from the early 2000s? I want us to watch them. And when we come back, I'll review some deep marketing secrets to you. First of all, let's start with Skybank. I wish I had someone who can help me with my dreams. I wish I had a friend helping me grow in every way. Saying yes! to my needs. Then Indomie advert. When you're thirsty. When you're hungry. Who is the one for you? Hollandia. Hollandia yoghurt. Then the funny Baba Blue advert. My Lord. Yes, now. I don't charge my copy and paste. My Lord. Now I go show say this man innocent. Innocent. Thank you. I swear. I don't go do again. Then the biggest marketing mistake brands are making today is trying to go viral instead of trying to become memorable. They fail to understand that virality can give you attention, but you sell more when people can remember your brand unconsciously. So whether you are an artist, a business owner, or an entrepreneur, here are five ways you can make people talk about your brand without paying influencers. Listen carefully. This is a one-million-dollar advice. Number one: create something people can repeat. The most powerful marketing is repeatable marketing. Notice the most common adverts you see remember today. Most of them have something in common: a slogan, a catchphrase, or one unique expression. And that is because the human brain remembers patterns, not paragraphs. Your brand should have something people can repeat about it. It could be one sentence, one word, one phrase, one signature greeting, or one unique expression. When people repeat those words, they are advertising your brand for free. So don't just create content around, create language because language travels faster than logos. Number two: give people a story they can retell. Let your brand have a story behind it because people love stories. Nobody will ever say, "I saw a nice advert." But people say, "Do you know what happened to this company?" "Have you heard how this became famous?" "Do you know this business almost failed?" That is because stories easily travel from one mouth to another. Every brand should have a story people enjoy telling. Your story could be your origin, your biggest mistake, your craziest customer, your impossible comeback, or your weird idea. If people can repeat your story accurately, then your marketing has already started working. Number three: make insiders feel like insiders. This marketing is very rare. Human beings love belonging. They love feeling like what other people don't know. That is why fan clubs exist. That is why communities grow. That is why people proudly say, "I knew this artist before everybody else." You need to give your audience insider moments, like early access, behind-the-scenes, private updates, special names, hidden meanings, or exclusive information. This strategy is very important because the moment people feel like insiders, they stop behaving like customers. They start behaving like ambassadors. People naturally protect what they feel belongs to them. Number four: make people see their problem before you see your product. When you're advertising, introduce the solution first. Because people don't buy because you have a solution. They buy because you have helped them discover a problem they never knew existed. For example, instead of saying, "I have a solution that can save you from kidney failure," say something like, "Do you know taking too much alcohol can slowly destroy your kidney?" Now, the audience discovers a problem. They'll be curious to ask, "What is the solution?" That is when you introduce your brand as a solution. Before we proceed to number five, if you are just starting a business, a career, or a brand, you need the best marketing strategies, brand positioning, and marketing campaigns to sales. Let's talk marketing. Number five: Don't create adverts, create culture. This is the biggest lesson to learn from old television era. The best adverts didn't interrupt culture, they became part of everyday life, and that should be your goal. As an artist, don't just release songs, create expression people keep repeating long after you stop talking. Because when your brand becomes part of everyday conversation, you no longer need to chase attention. Attention will start chasing you. The biggest marketing mistake today is believing that views equals influence. Influence is measured by memory. Ask yourself this simple question: if social media disappeared tomorrow, what will people remember your logo or your ideas? Your products because brands on screens disappear with the algorithm, but brands that live in people's memory can survive generations. That is why Coca-Cola still exists. That is why Nike still exists. That is why, even after these years, most of us can still remember those TV adverts. They didn't just buy attention, they earned a place in our memory. And in marketing, memory is the most valuable real estate you can ever own.
