When I completed Opoku Ware School, I used to believe that the heavy name of my school would somehow charm WAEC into giving me better grades or force KNUST or Legon into giving me automatic admission. If you just completed SHS and you're sitting home thinking the exact same thing, please go and wash your face. The university admission system does not care about your school crest. It only reads two things: your index number and then your aggregate. I'm not saying you should not be proud of your school, but when it comes to university admissions, it's your index number and your aggregate that matters.
