Fable 5 is about to start costing you real money every time that you use it, but someone on Reddit found a way to potentially bypass it and honestly, it's kind of genius. So before your access runs out on July 7th, have Fable write the instructions for Opus 4.8 to follow. And here's the theory: since Fable knows exactly how Opus works under the hood, it could potentially write skills and instructions to tell Opus how Fable would actually handle that task. And the idea is to teach the cheap model how to think like the expensive model before the expensive model costs too much for you to not be able to use it. Although there's no proof that this actually works, here's why it's still try it. Even if Opus doesn't change the way it thinks, you now have all of your best workflows set as skills that you can use later, and all of those skills were made by Anthropic's most powerful model. You only have a limited time to actually access, so save this right now and try it out and let me know in the comments how it actually worked for you guys.
