how to get over your fear of public speaking. Coming from a major introvert who used to hate public speaking, but now actually loves public speaking and would actually say it's one of her greatest strengths. The first thing you need to realize, the fear of public speaking is typically due to a lack of confidence in your public speaking skills. You're afraid that you're gonna mess up and since you're in front of a lot of people, that they're gonna laugh and judge you. So really the fear of public speaking is the fear of failing and being judged. So a lot of my tips will be on how to build that confidence around your public speaking. Number one is to do impromptu speaking drills. Impromptu speaking drills are speaking drills that give you limited preparation time. For example, someone can give you a random topic to prepare a five minute speech. Of course, this can be super terrifying. Think about the confidence that you will gain after being able to master the skill. You're gonna think, if I can do this, I can do anything. What I recommend is that every day setting up a timer for one minute speaking on a random topic without any filler words. My second tip is to record yourself when you're speaking. You can see what you're like when you're speaking, stepping into your audience's shoes and looking at how they would see you. Now with that, you can make a lot of changes to the way that you're speaking. Also highlight all the things that you do like, all things that will be able to make you feel more mentally prepared. Okay, this helped. Bye.
