Fable 5's new pricing model proves that n8n is not dead. So, the new pricing model that Anthropic dropped that you can use up to 50% of your usage limits before charging API usage. Every time you use Fable 5, they're charging you extra on top of what you already pay in subscription. Penetration pricing is when a company brings a product to market and gives it for ultra cheap for wide adoption. Then, once it's widely adopted, they will remove the amount of supply and create large amounts of scarcity. Meaning that the product will get much more expensive, but you are already dependent on it. Just like how we're super dependent on Claude. So then these models I can drop it, chat GPT, they're going to move to API based pricing. No longer are you going to have a Claude subscription, you are going to have API pricing. So every time you use Claude, you're going to have to pay a certain amount. So I feel like we're going to see a major move back to tools like n8n and building automations because now you simply can't get away with lazy automation building within cloud.
