It's a challenge when we only have $10 to feed the whole family. We're gonna make a big chicken casserole today. Come along with us. Start by grabbing one of these large cans of cream of chicken soup. Next, grab a large can of chunk chicken breast. Don't let me lose you at the can chicken, okay? I promise if you've never tried a recipe before, we can make it taste good. Grab a 16 ounce package of medium egg noodles. You can get the wide or the medium, whatever you prefer. Then go ahead and grab a can of peas and diced carrots. Get this plain bread crumbs. And last, we're gonna go to the cheese aisle to get your 8 ounce block of choice. I did Colby Jack today. Okay, here's everything we need for our meal in our basket. Let's go ahead and check out and make sure we stayed under our $10 budget. Here's everything I check out and we did stay under $10. Let's go make our meal. First, our noodles need to boil. Go ahead and cook those according to the package directions. And then once they're cooked, add them to a large mixing bowl. Also adding in your can of cream of chicken soup. And your can of chunk chicken. And your can of peas and diced carrots. And half of the shredded cheese. Get that all mixed and then it's time to put that in a 9 by 13 casserole dish. Once it's in the casserole dish, go ahead and put some of the bread crumbs on top. I did not use this whole container, I probably used about a third of it. And then we're gonna follow that up with the rest of our shredded cheese. After you put the cheese on top, go ahead and put that in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. I do like to broil it for a little bit at the end too. Here's what it looks like when it comes out. This meal was absolutely delicious. Nobody in the family could tell that it was canned chicken at all. And look how good it is on the plate. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next budget recipe video. I post several of these every week.
