I cannot wait to come back to Detroit just to experince this place again! Great restaurant I got to experience on my layover in Detroit, Michigan called The Block. As soon as you walked in, great customer service. For me, it's not just about the food, it's about how you feel while you're there. And this place was no disappointment. Reviews, everyone kept raving about their spinach, artichoke and warm pita chips and it, my mouth watered immediately. Three cheese blend, fresh spinach, artichoke and warm. Pita chips and it, my mouth watered immediately. Gotta be honest, it was worth everything they said about it was completely true. Blended so well together. It was so hot and cheesy. I was even, hahaha, but I made, cause I could not stop. I was looking around the restaurant and realized everybody, the exact same thing. Now whether they saw me enjoying it so, heard about it like I did, either way, it's a favorite. If I had to rank it, it'd be an automatic 10 out of 10. If you're going to this restaurant, this is an absolute must. Next up, I got their double down burger. Two ground brisket smash patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, house sauce, lettuce, tomato and a brioche bun. It was pretty massive, but as you, made it work. It normally comes with regular fries, but I switched mine out for sweet potato fries and I'm glad I did. These were so good and crispy. The outside is and inside soft and tied together. Burger no problem. Baby enjoy. I love when the customer service is just as good as the food. You call me baby, I'm coming back for life. Now as great as that burger was, I missed my spinach and artichoke dip. Had to bring it back. If you're ever in Detroit, Michigan, make sure to stop at The Block. The food is, is the customer, black owned. Win win win. All around. I will definitely be back.
