A neighbor warned me about the rain 🌧 and I still got caught up 🤣😩. A lot of y'all have asked why I empty my mower bags before they're completely full. Here's why. 👇🏾 When the bags get too full, the grass starts shooting back out from underneath the mower instead of going into the bags. That leaves clippings all over my lawn and even on my driveway. At that point, I have three choices: 🌱 Mow back over those clippings to pick them up. 🍃 Blow them off the lawn and driveway afterward. 🧹 Or rake them up by hand. I'd rather empty the bags a little early than create more work for myself later. This video was recorded using the high-lift blade. One of the reasons I switched to a high-lift blade is because it SHOULD create stronger airflow, lift more grass into the bags, and pack the clippings tighter. But it's not performing as expected 😕. Since this mower is old, it could be several reasons why this blade it not tightly packing the grass in the bag. It could be the torque of the mower, design of the blade, deck design, bag, etc. Who knows 🤷🏿♀️😩. BTW: I'm a bagger. I've noticed a lot of landscapers prefer mulching because it's faster and more efficient for their business. I have never let my clippings fall back into my lawn for several reasons. #bagger #lawncare #Zoysia #lawnmower
