I have a little estate sale hack for you

I have a little estate sale hack for you. You guys are going to think I'm crazy for this one, but to the victors go the spoils, so I will not apologize. One of the questions I am asked most is, how do you know about estate sales? I use estatesales.net, but there are lots of different websites. I'm not being paid, this is not an ad, that's just the website I use. Most of these estate sale websites will post dozens of photos of items that will be available at the sale. It's always a good idea to just go frame by frame, zoom in if you have to, and figure out if there's something specifically that you want. Now, here's my hack. Most of these estate sale websites will also share the address of the sale about 24 hours prior. With a few exceptions, often when an estate sale is held, the house itself is also for sale. And in those cases, you can look up the address on Zillow. And this is where I start getting really crafty. I will compare the photo of the item I want on the estate sale company's website with the photos on Zillow. Like if there's one item I really want and I see that it's in a room with floral wallpaper, I'll go through the Zillow listings and try to find that room with floral wallpaper. This way, when the sale opens and I rush in, I know which way to go or I can at least ask the estate sale attendant, where's the living room? Or where's the office? The more you know.
