I sat down this morning trying to decide what I wanted to do tonight. Should I build? Should I read? Should I continue planning my Disney trip I'm taking in a few weeks? Should I go work out some more? And then I was reminded of the Santa Claus 2 with the council of legendary figures and I realized I make decisions by myself. I think my brain holds a council meeting every time I decide what to do next. Every version of Geoff gets a vote. Lego Geoff reminds me that only two thirds of the Titanic is actually finished. Book Geoff insists that I literally bought a new book yesterday. Disney Geoff reminded me of a new rope drop strategy that I saw on Reddit today. I gotta verify that. Seasonal Geoff says that if I do build, to build Hocus Pocus, that version of me is just going to resign. Meanwhile, the workout version of me reminds me that I'd probably make better decisions if I spent an hour lifting first. And then there's the financially responsible Geoff, but that guy hasn't had a W since '93. And there's even Geoff that just goes to bed. Ignore. People think I'm indecisive, but I'm not. I'm just severely outnumbered. The committee will reconvene tomorrow.
