I am six books into dungeon crawler and I have completely lost perspective. Captain Enormous? Sure. A woman shooting acid from her nipples. Checks out Uzi Jesus I didn't even blink. Somewhere over the last six books I stopped questioning the weird stuff. And then a character spends five minutes explaining why poetry is stupid. And by the end I'd completely forgotten that she was the severed head of a service doll and I started to agree with her. Something about the acorns. Somewhere along the way, I stopped laughing at these characters and I started to worry about them. When I finished book six, I didn't immediately jump into book seven. I just sat there staring at a wall, wondering what was gonna happen to my favourite characters. And the fact that a series with Captain Enormous, Acid Nipples, and Uzi Jesus could make that happen is one of the greatest magic tricks I've ever seen an author pull. Book Seven... please be nice
