4 things I'm doing right now to secure my daughter’s future financially. Number one is a Junior stocks & shares ISA. So, a Junior stocks & shares ISA is an investment account but for children. And I put a certain amount into this account every single month without fail and I invest into the stock market for her. So when she is of age, I'm able to give her a lump sum of money. So the account actually goes over to her when she is 18, but I don't plan to give her the account to her until she's in her 20s because I don't know if she will be ready for that amount of money at 18. Number two is teaching her how money works. So not just giving her money, but teaching her how money actually works. And how money works. So not just giving her money, but teaching her how to earn money, how to budget money, the skills that you need in order to make money and the importance of money as well. Number three is building a private pension for myself so that my daughter does not have to look after me financially when I am older. If she wants to give me some money, that's great, but I would always have my own money. I think this is not spoken about enough in our community because I feel there's this expectation that the children will look after their parents financially. And whilst I agree to a certain extent, I do not think you should be a financial liability to your children. Number four is insurance. Protecting her by protecting myself with insurance. So I have insurance on my property, I have life insurance, I have critical illness insurance. So if anything were to ever happen to me, she will not be responsible for me financially because I have all of these insurances in place. My name is Shads and I'm on a journey to building generational wealth. So if you're interested in this type of content, don't forget to follow, like and share.
