hey girls! we talk about bodycare routines, tips and products one product that can be really beneficial to incorporate into your bodycare routines is witch hazel let's talk about a few of its uses and benefits witch hazel's a natural toner and astringent that can help with soothing inflammation, and balancing the skin without being as drying as other alcohol based options for example; it can be used in dealing with breakouts on your chest, back, or shoulders and will serve as a great general treatment that doesn't strip the skin witch hazel can also help remove excess oil and bacteria on the skin that will contribute to clogged pores it can also serve well in your underarms for neutralizing any odor-causing bacteria and remove any leftover deodorant that can build up and trap sweat this would also apply to any inner folds or creases in the skin on heels and feet, it can help sanitize these areas and polish the skin and if you've recognized in all of its uses and functions it's very similar to glycolic acid i would claim for this to be a more gentle alternative, since it won't disrupt your skin barrier but still gently exfoliate and polish definitely stay tuned for the full comparison and contrast video on this coming soon! now when using witch hazel make sure it's applied to clean, dry skin as it can be diluted and interfered with and you can use this with a cotton round since it's not really needed to be absorbed into the skin just to lift any surface bacteria and balance the skin's pH and always make sure to follow with a moisturizer to rehydrate your skin. and if you have the option; a ceramide-based moisturizer would serve best witch hazel can also serve great for so many reasons after shaving. definitely stay tuned for my breakdown on that video also come coming soon! i have a few videos planned around but definitely feel free to let me know of any requests you have on anything you wanna learn specifically or understand its better uses on let me know if you've started using witch hazel already and what you like to use it for
