hey girls! so i get lots of questions on how i maintain my legs and everything that i use on them within my routines would claim as 4 non-negotiables for smooth and clear legs. first, chemical exfoliants you have 2 options, and choosing the best one will really be de- pending on the current and appearance of your legs. you have glycolic acid, which will work better if you have any dark spots or dark and rough knees. then you have a salicylic acid, this would serve best if you have strawberry skin or deal with rough and bumpy skin. you have body balms. personally, i love the ones from palmer's they're super affordable and do a great job. i have both an unfragranced and a fragranced option, and i will choose depending on the day that i'm doing that day. personally. i find this best for my knees, to keep them smooth and vibrant. on your entire leg. if you're needing that deeper moisture. and if you need a moisturizer that will last much longer, this would serve it best for really rough or dry skin. skin health body serums are also gonna be a great addition. if you're dealing with skin that's more dry and dull, picking a hydrating serum like saltair's hyaluronic acid serum is gonna serve you best, if you're dealing with lots of damage to the skin, whether you're actively treating it or not you're gonna want skin-rebuilding ingredients. so choosing an essence like; prequel's half and half. or even cyklar's milky essence will serve you best. and lastly, as much as chemical exfoliants are gonna serve you well, physical exfoliants are also crucial. you can choose whichever texture or tool you prefer. i always recommend exfoliating gloves. i feel like they're the best texture and i feel like they're the most efficient in use, since you have complete control over the pressure, angles. and the areas that you're targeting. the use of frequency with these will be completely up to your skin's sensitivity and tolerance. if you haven't used these before. i would say start with about 2 to 3 times a week and see if that's your level of tolerance. or if you're needing more days. these are just my top 4, i would honestly say that smooth and clear legs are fairly high maintenance, and a lot goes into them. a part 2 or if you have any other questions. bye girls!
