Fifteen minutes from Arlington, you can drive a 1950s boat down the Washington Channel with champagne in hand 🚤 We took out a red vintage runabout named Gladys with @seasuiteretroboats at The Wharf. It's a jet-age boat retrofitted with a silent electric motor, fits up to four people, and it's fully BYOB (beer, wine, champagne, no hard liquor, driver stays dry). You get a quick tutorial at the dock, no experience needed, and it only goes about four miles an hour so it's slow and easy and perfect for a date. The golden-hour views of the Wharf and the Washington Monument were unreal. Comment your favorite date idea near DC 👀
