My husband and I just got back from Turks and Caicos. This is our second year in a row going. I posted a video of like a complete price breakdown, but now I want to talk about like where we stayed, the companies that we used for like our excursions and everything like that. We stayed at the Blue Haven Resort, all-inclusive. It is our second year in a row staying there and we love it. But in my opinion, the food and the drinks are all really great. The staff is amazing. One of the biggest perks is you do get unlimited access to their sister resort, which is the Alexandra Resort, and that is on Grace Bay Beach. They have a shuttle that runs between the two resorts all day long. We did get asked why we stayed at Blue Haven over the Alexandra Resort, considering the Alexandra Resort is on Grace Bay Beach. And honestly, the Alexandra is a lot more crazy, a lot more kids, a lot more families, it's a lot busier. Blue Haven is very quiet and in my opinion, the beach is still really great even though it's not Grace Bay Beach. We did two excursions. The first one was the half day snorkel boat tour. Use snorkel for an hour and then they took you to Iguana Island/Half Moon Bay, which is such a beautiful beach. For that, we used Caicos Island Charters to book this. We used the Viator website. It is a travel advisor company that you can book like excursions through. Our other excursion was a two-hour jet ski tour. Last year when we visited Turks, and I will say I preferred Hydrocharters over the one we did last year. I don't even remember what company we used last year, but last year we had issues with like the jet ski dying and it was far out from the abandoned shipwreck. We were going over choppy water for like 30 minutes. Whereas docking at Blue Haven, it's really close to the shipwreck, Iguana Island, Noah's Ark, and Pine Cay Beach. I forgot he also took us to Noah's Ark. So we had four different places on our jet ski excursion. As far as like food goes, because I did get a couple of questions to people asking like if we had any recommendations for where to eat. We stayed in all-inclusive. The only place that we went off property to eat at was The Cave Bar, which I saw all over TikTok and honestly, I'm not going to recommend it. The food was not great, like honestly, the food on our resort was better than that restaurant. Nothing against the restaurant, it's just for $145, we didn't think it was worth it. It's a beautiful atmosphere, but I can't really speak to recommending like local food places or anything like that because both times when we've gone, we just eat at either the Alexandra or the Blue Haven Resort. I recommend everything that I just suggested in this video. We had nothing but great experiences with all of the different companies that we used.
