1. “Tell me about yourself.” Most candidates respond with a chronological summary of their career. Instead, answer one question: Why are you the right person for this role? Structure it like this: Who you are → What problems you solve → Evidence → Why you’re excited about this opportunity. 2. “My biggest strength is that I’m hardworking.” Being hardworking is expected. Choose a strength that’s relevant to the role and prove it with a specific example. For example: “One of my strengths is stakeholder management. On my last project, I aligned five departments with competing priorities, which helped us deliver the project on schedule.” 3. “My weakness is perfectionism.” Hiring managers have heard it hundreds of times. Pick a genuine but non-critical weakness, then spend most of your answer explaining what you’ve done to improve it. The interviewer isn’t looking for perfect answers. They’re looking for evidence that you can solve their problems. #interviewprep #interviewskills
