Should you Tip? Restaurant, yes every single time. Takeout or counter pickup, no. Coffee shop with the iPad spin around, depending on how complex the drink is, maybe so, but most likely no. Bartender, yes. Food delivery like DoorDash, yes. Haircut or barber, yes. Hairstylist, yes. Massage or spa, yes. Hotel housekeeping, maybe so. Hotel bellhop or valet, they help you bring your luggage up, yes. Grocery delivery, yes. Buffet, but you seat and serve yourself, no. Tattoo artist, yes. Dog groomer, yes. Car wash, maybe so, if it's an automatic car wash then no, but if it is a personal detail then obviously yes. Baristas at the drive-through, no. Pizza delivery driver, yes. Catering and open bar events, maybe so. If you're hosting the catering, obviously you need to tip, but if it's an open bar event they don't always have tip jars there, so it's a maybe so because of that.
