WHAT I WOULD DO IN DENVER THIS WEEKEND (7/8-7/12) Starting on Wednesday there's an adult night at Pirates Cove. If you grew up in Colorado, Pirates Cove is a staple as a kid that runs from 6 to eight PM. Tickets are around 15 bucks. They're gonna be doing this for the next two Wednesdays in July, so if you can't make this week that's okay. On Thursday is a south platte clean up and happy hour. We're gonna be meeting at 3:30 at Frog Hollow Park for a community clean up. DATE & TIME Thursday, July 9th at 3:30 pm LOCATION Frog Hollow Park 2350 W 8th Ave Denver, CO 80204 RSVP Then after you can get a free beer at Odell's. This is a great way to help your community and maybe meet some new friends. Highly recommend checking this one out. On Friday there's a fun DJ R&B event happening at the chorus.rooftop. Tickets are $30 bucks. Also on Friday is Halloween in July at tracks. It is 18+. Tickets are around $20 bucks and it starts at 9. Also starting on Friday and running all weekend is a Denver French Fest. Think wine tasting, fashion show, art, music, a ton of other stuff. It runs from 4 to 10 on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday and it is totally free to check out. Also starting on Friday and running all weekend is the Water Lantern Fest that's gonna be hosted at Carpenter Park and it runs from 5:30 to 10 each day. Tickets are around $30 bucks, but it does include a lantem making kit which you can send off onto the water. Saturday, it is 7/11 days so don't forget to get your slushies! Saturday is Cross Currents which is free live-music at Confluence Park. This is one of my favourite events in Denver. that runs from 2 to 10 PM. Also on Saturday is a rooftop day party. Tickets for that are around $32 and that goes from 3 to 10 PM at Battery 621. On Saturday is Crafterday at Fiction Beer Co. This is just an afternoon of doing crafts and drinking beer which is so much fun that runs from 1 to 5 PM. it is free to check out. You can bring your own craft supplies but they will have supplies there too if you just wanna use theirs. Also on Saturday is a vinyl night market at the Black Box. There gunna be selling a ton of vinyl and there's also gonna be a bunch of DJ sets and stuff like that. It goes from 9 to 8 and tickets are around $10 bucks. Also on Saturday and on Sunday is Thrift Con. My bestie girl is gonna be vending so definitely go check her booth out. Tickets for that around $30 bucks. Don't forget that Jazz in the Park happens every Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at City Park. It is free so that's always a fun one to go to.
