Hook

If you're frugal girl like me or you just want to explore more what summer in Denver has to offer, you have to check out First Fridays. It happens every first Friday of the month, rain or shine from 5:30 to 9:30 in the Art District on Santa Fe. And the best part that it's completely free. You get to walk through hundreds of artists, galleries, studios, co-ops, even alleyways, all with live music everywhere. This time I actually found a new band that made it on to my playlist. Uh, get light on Osage. Plus there's free parking all around the district. Also super random but hilarious. I found out that my dentist's who brother who is also a dentist, has an art gallery here. Denver really is just that small sometimes. My favorite stop though is Museo de las Americas. Entrance on First Fridays, and as a first gen Latina, I love seeing a museum dedicated to my culture and local artists and Latino community here. They also have a little market in the back where you can shop. Vendors, drinks. Usually walk the whole strip. We listen to music, look at art, eat some food, all without having to spend all. Living doesn't so this for your next First Friday. Watching
Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
