There's a reason why rich people stay rich and poor people stay poor and it's not what you might think. It all comes down to one fundamental belief when purchasing goods. And that is, rich people purchase once and never purchase again. Poor people purchase once and purchase over and over again. What does this mean? It means whatever you're gonna go purchase something, whether it be a coffee machine, a pair of pants, a shirt, a car, whatever it is. You always tend to look at the price tag of the item. If a coffee machine is worth $2,000, you might think it's expensive. So you go for the coffee machine that is worth $600 because it's cheaper. But what you don't see is that the $600 coffee machine is going to die on you way faster and it's not going to have the lifespan of the $2,000 coffee machine. So ultimately, over time, you're going to have to purchase the $600 coffee machine and you're gonna have to purchase another one in a year or in a year and a half, or it might break down in six months. Meaning you're gonna spend $600 now, $600 in the next six months, and $600 in the next six months. And it's going to become more expensive than if you have purchased the $2,000 coffee machine. And that goes for everything. Like I mentioned, shoes, pants, shirts, coffee machines, whatever you want to put it. It's not about the price tag of the item, it's about the actual cost per use of the item. If you look at things that way, you'll get more money out of your item and you'll stop spending more money.
