Had her PT/OT therapy evaluation yesterday. Chicky didn’t qualify for the 3 year early intervention at this time. We have been spending HOURS a day working on skills at home and it’s been doing wonders for her. She’s taking to it so well. It’s kind of a catch 22, I am so glad that she is progressing, but also bummed that she just barely missed the cutoff. We will evaluate her again at 7 months and if she doesn’t qualify at that time, then we will enroll her in the 12 month program.
