Update on therapy to help my girl with her limb difference My baby is a little bit over three months old and as you can see, she was born missing the lower part of her right arm. But you're perfect. Hi. I posted a video last week of her starting to roll over and I commented and asked if she was in OT or PT. I had mentioned that her pediatrician and her pediatric ortho said that she wasn't going to need it until she was like 18 months to 24 months. And a really nice nurse practitioner commented and said that a lot of states offer early intervention. So I looked it up and our state does offer early intervention from birth to three years old. So I'm going to be starting that with my tiny queen here. Has her first early intervention appointment on June 23rd. At that appointment on the 23rd, they'll come out and they'll evaluate her and they'll just see what kind of therapies she might need. So far she's hitting most of her milestones and she's perfect. Hi. Yes, you are. So they offer, you know, PT, OT, speech therapy, cognitive therapy. So she'll have a whole team of therapists and they do all the therapies in home. So that will be really nice so that she's like in her own environment, just feels safe and somewhere that she recognizes. She's tracking fans right now. She's obsessed with them. That's another reason why I'm so grateful for the little community that I have. I never would have thought to look into early intervention after her pediatrician and her pediatric ortho said that it wasn't necessary. But it's free. So if it's another team of doctors and therapists that are in my girl's corner to help her succeed and thrive as best she can. Why wouldn't I want to do that? So we'll be starting that. Should know more later this month. I don't really know what that's going to look like. But yeah, we're just thriving over here and everything that she's done in her little three months of life. She's so much fun. Anyway, I'm just so proud of my girl and everything that she's done already in her little three months of life. She's so much fun. Bye. See ya. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
