The United States, particularly Missouri, saved the French wine industry. You literally wouldn't have it without us. And so in the late 1800s, there was this little pest that basically decimated most, like 70%, most of the French wineries. No grapes. And this guy named Charles Valentine Riley, who was the first Missouri state entomologist, he discovered that our vines were immune to this pest. He's like, hey, why don't you use our vines? Which actually, a lot of them came over from Europe. German. the Germans, too. They came over and they founded the wine industry in Missouri. And it was actually the biggest wine area of the United States. And there was a winery in Hermann, Missouri, that was the third largest in the world at one time. So Riley and a guy named George Husman, who was a vintner from Hermann, Missouri, they got people to use Missouri vines to replace the ones that were dead. And a lot of people were like, oh, if we want to take these American vines. So good old George was like, here, take these. He gave them vines to put it. I forget what you call it, where you kind of put them with your vines. Anyway, without the United States, your wine industry at all. So please, just, um, slow your role a little bit and realize that other people can have accents too. I don't know why Americans are the only ones that apparently aren't allowed to have accents.
