Okay, I'm gonna make you mad. I'm gonna make you mad. From St. Louis, about 30 minutes, about 30 from St. Louis, and about 10 minutes from a town, city called Saint Charles, after an Italian dude, but was settled by a French guy. And I saw a comment once that said that we took spelling from the French, but pronunciation from the Germans. And that's so accurate, it's so funny. And city or town names that are French. And say your town names that are French. Pronounce them that way. And I'll start with some that are close. And we'll just get worse from there. And it's related to Cajun French, to Cajun French. And it's related to a Cajun French called Paw Paw French. Called Papa French. Not many people speak it anymore. Where they mainly, not weirdly a French name. The people that are remaining to live in and around a town called Old Mines, Missouri. Like Bonne Terre. Like Bonne Terre names around there. Like Bonteheuwel and related to I don't know Lake Pomme de Terre, which I know is Apple of the Earth or Lake Pomme de Terre, which was named after him. And one of the people that founded St. Louis, there's a street named after him. Which I don't think you pronounce it that way. Missouri, was named Blanchette. And it's a Blanchet Park. So now let's do some that are further and further you actually pronounce it. There's Des Peres. There's a town, Missouri called Sainte Genevieve. And then we have Creve Coeur, or Bellefontaine neighbors is the neighborhood. And one of the towns where they speak or spoke Missouri French was Prairie du Rochert. Prairie de Roger. You don't say it like that. You would call Saint Francois County, which we, it's Saint Francis County. County. Um, got the Balliver. It's pretty close. There's a town spelled like this that people call Gratchit. We have Des Arc. We have Desloge. There's a town fairly near where I grew up, uh, that is called Famosage. And one of the really gonna bother you, that is just. I find it hilarious, is there's a town spelled like this and is pronounced for sales. I think of more. Because I think, I said Graboy, which is a big one that you'll hear people that moved here, and they are weathercaster or they do the traffic. Them out right away, they don't say Graboy, they don't say Showdo. And German ones too, like, uh, Spede. Speedy. So we are gonna take your words, and we're gonna pronounce them however we want. And that's just gonna have to be okay, because we're not gonna stop. And if just seven year old Blanc is gonna bother you, maybe don't come. It's beautiful here. But, yeah, the, uh, gonna bother you.
