Can I live for less than my rent? I booked the cheapest interior cabin. No windows, no balcony. Just you and a bed. If you'd be better off in favour for a life at sea. Let's be honest, no landlord cleans your room twice a day and leaves towel animals. So, it's 0-1, land cruise. But there were three more things to consider. Your cabin might be a shoe box, but your apartment complex has 3 swimming pools, a theatre and a massive gym bundled into your monthly rent. And you will need. Because included is a 24-hour buffet and... 3 course meals every, every night. So whatever you currently drop on your grocery shop each month, instantly drops to zero. But here's the hidden catch. If you're a digital nomad trying to dial on your boss whilst floating past the Bahamas, paying for premium Wi-Fi is essential to avoiding being fired. So by my calculations, living on a cruise ship is actually cheaper if your current rent is more than $1500 a month.
