Not exactly what you’d expect to find in my freezer, or maybe it’s exactly what you’d expect. Freezing coffee is a delicate process and worth reading more prior to taking it on yourself. I suggest the articles that Barista Hustle have written as a good place to start. A few notes: -Freezing drastically slows down the aging of coffee but doesn’t fully stop it. I’ve anecdotally had coffees in my freezer for well over a year that still taste great but in general, I try to use them within 4-6 months of freezing just to ensure that I’m cycling my stock. -Freeze your coffee at its peak in flavor, not directly after roasting. Give it time to off-gas before freezing. -Once you remove the coffee from the freezer, brew it within the next few hours. -Never re-freeze coffee that’s been removed from the freezer.
