I see a woman now who's comfortable in her own skin. But I'm ready to share more of what I experience because I want you to know how I got here. So first off, I'm Jenna X and growing up in the eighties, girl, you know, it was about being seen and not heard. That's just the way it was. And I think somewhere along the way, I started believing that my voice really didn't matter. I didn't have a sense that I was important. And I think I didn't even know that more existed. I was married a little over 20 years. That marriage gave me my two children, which are my greatest gifts of all time. But I realized that I wanted something different in a relationship. I wanted to be seen, emotional safety, I wanted partnership. And in my late 20s, during that difficult relationship period of serious emotional dysregulation, and I became estranged from my sisters. That's something that I carried a lot of shame and loneliness around and it really has taken me a lot of years to work through that pain. And I'm still working on it. But I think somewhere along the way, I just decided that I didn't want my wounds making me feel unlovable. I felt was nothing. So I started doing a lot of work, started reflecting on my experiences, thinking about how they shaped my choices and the way that I saw myself. I started academic research around confidence, worth, self-image, psychological safety, nervous system regulation. And just started putting work, investing myself, thinking about what I want my life to look like. I didn't want painful experiences in life to hold me back anymore because I felt that was hiding. I felt unlovable. I felt was nothing. So I started doing a lot of work. Started reflecting on my experiences, thinking about how they shaped my choices and the way that I saw myself. I started academic research around confidence, worth, self-image, psychological safety, nervous system regulation. And just started putting work, investing myself, thinking about what I want my life to look like. I didn't want painful experiences in life to hold me back anymore. I know I'm not the only woman carrying things shaped her past that shapes how she sees herself. And I think maybe that's why we remind each other that healing is all possible. We're all doing the work. We're all growing. Honestly, this page has become such a big part of my healing too. Every time I encourage a woman to believe in herself, I'm repeating those same things, reminding myself of those same things every day. And I'm also married to a partner who makes me feel heard in ways that I never knew were possible. We've been married seven years now, almost eight. And that has been incredibly healing for me. So when you see us pop up on your FYP doing our little livestreams and fun videos, I want you to know that just gives me so much joy. Watching decided past gonna life. This isn't easy publicly, but that women one dimensional image tough. You other part resonated you hear. I know I'm not the only woman things shaped how she sees herself. And I think maybe that's why we remind each other is healing is possible. We're all doing the work. We're all growing.
