One of the hardest parts of fundraising is this... An investor leaves the meeting excited. Then you never hear from them again. I've seen founders spend weeks wondering what they did wrong. The truth is, a "no" isn't always about your startup. Sometimes it's their investment thesis. Sometimes it's your valuation. Sometimes they've already backed a competitor.
