um, why not just date a guy?

um, why not just date a guy? I'm gonna try and engage in this conversation with as much good faith as I possibly can. the whole point of this video was if you are a lesbian who dates masc butch or stud lesbians, why not just date a man? because they look so much like boys and they act so much like boys. you may as well just date a boy. my thing is, is whenever straight people ask this question, you could easily get the answer by role-reversing. you're saying that there is very little difference between a man and a masculine lesbian? completely incorrect. but let's say that that's the narrative you're going with. you're saying if you date a masc lesbian, you may as well date a man because they're very much interchangeable. why don't you date a masc lesbian then? if you are a straight woman and you like men, and your logic is, well, if you're a lesbian who dates masc lesbians, you may as well just date a man because they're so interchangeable. why don't you date masc lesbians? why aren't you finding yourself in masc lesbian or bisexual relationships? why are you straight? why are you only dating exclusively men? and I think when you ask yourself that question, the actual answer just comes to your head. because I'm not into women. because like men. snd that's the, that's the whole answer. there is no big plot, there's no big conspiracy theory. there's no like, detailed description of, like, how I can get this through to you. it is because I, as a lesbian, do not like men. and d there is a difference between men and masculine lesbians. that is it. If you are a straight woman who likes man and you wouldn't date a masculine lesbian or a butch lesbian because to you, you're not into women. and like you can tell that there's a difference for you. there is a difference for lesbians. as someone who exclusively only dates butch and studs, I am consistently getting told, they're basically like boys. what's the point? what's the point? as a lesbian, you should be like into women. like girly girls, like femmes. and my argument has always been I'm attracted to masculinity, I'm not attracted to men. like butch's masc and studs. I like people who are more masculine in the way that they present themselves. the way that they hold themselves, their fashion sense, their attitudes. but if all of those characteristics and all of those traits and all of those appearances were put into man I would not like that man. because I am a lesbian and it is that simple. it's very frustrating to me as a lesbian in 2026 that we are still having this conversation of if you are a lesbian who doesn't like femmes, you are basically straight cause that's how people treat you. people treat you as though you're just like halfway to straight, you may as well be. you may as well just not be a lesbian anymore. and just get a boyfriend. just get a husband. cause clearly you like them. I don't. I wouldn't date a man because I'm not into men. you wouldn't date a masc lesbian because you're not into women. and that is the end of the conversation. that is the only thing we need to know.
