Looks like it’s a nasi lemak day in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 I walked through one of KL’s most traditional Malay neighbourhoods before stopping at a nasi lemak restaurant I’ve visited before and already knew was good. Fragrant coconut rice, sambal, beef rendang and chicken rendang… basically, some of the flavours that make Malaysian food such an important part of experiencing Malaysia. To every foreigner and traveller visiting Malaysia: if you come here and only eat Western food, you’re missing a huge part of the journey. You have to try nasi lemak and explore traditional Malaysian food at least once.
