DIY WASHING MACHINE CLEANER

Step 1 – Tub Hygiene Cleaning Ingredients: * 2 tbsp Ariel Antibac * 4 tbsp Oxybleach (SODIUM PERCARBONATE) NOTE: You can adjust the amount of OXYBLEACH if there is more build up. Instructions: 1. Start the Tub Hygiene cycle. 2. Wait until the tub has filled with water. 3. Add the Ariel Antibac and Oxybleach. NOTE: Dissolve OXYBLEACH in hot water. 4. Pause the machine and let it soak for 30 minutes (or more). 5. Resume the cycle and let it finish completely. Step 2 – Citric Acid Rinse Ingredient: * 4 tbsp Citric Acid Instructions: 1. After the Tub Hygiene cycle is complete, start a Normal Wash cycle. 2. Wait until the tub has filled with water. 3. Add the Citric Acid. NOTE: Dissolve Citric Acid in warm/hot water. 4. Pause the machine and let it soak for at least 1 hour. 5. Resume the cycle and allow it to finish completely. Why use Citric Acid? * Dissolves hard water minerals and limescale. * Helps remove detergent and fabric softener residue. * Neutralizes alkaline residues left behind by detergents. * Helps reduce musty odors Q: Why combine Ariel Antibac and Sodium Percarbonate (Oxybleach)?
