The biggest mistake I see with hanging baskets? Most people stop watering too soon. 💦 Watering until the soil looks wet isn’t enough. Keep watering until you see water running freely from the drainage holes. That’s your sign the entire root ball has been fully saturated—not just the top layer of soil. So why do hanging baskets seem to dry out so quickly? ☀️ They’re exposed to sun on all sides. 💨 Wind pulls moisture from the soil much faster. 🪴 They hold far less soil than a garden bed or large container.
