Ranking the best Finance Books Rich Dad Poor Dad D tier this is the book that everybody tells you to read first but it's not really a finance book if anything it's more about real estate and most of the advice is vague and unclear at best however this book did do one thing phenomenally it motivated people to start investing but teach them not so much the psychology of money S tier forget everything you think you know about investing Morgan Housell will tell you that behavior beats knowledge every single day of the week and this book isn't about stocks or formulas you choose the financial decisions that you make and then it teaches you how to train your brain into making better ones in my opinion this is the greatest finance book ever written The Intelligent Investor B tier Benjamin Graham wrote the bible on value investing and you don't even have to take my word for it because Warren Buffett calls this the greatest investment book ever written so why is it B tier? because it was written in 1949 and because of that getting through this book becomes a grind but the grind is worth it on this one The Millionaire Next Door A Tier you think you know what a millionaire looks like but you really don't this book did the actual research and it shows that the real wealthy people in America are living far below their means they drive normal cars, wear generic clothes, and they fly economy all while quietly building wealth when no one's watching this was the book that changed how I saw money forever The Total Money Makeover F tier cut up your credit cards, don't get a mortgage, put all your money into mutual funds yeah that advice might get you out of debt but it won't build real wealth no credit means no credit score and no credit score means no leverage and sorry to break it to you Dave but in 2026 that's a problem and if you like this content make sure to follow for more!
